MindPin Privacy Policy
MindPin is a local-first notes and reminders app. You do not need an account to use it, so you can open it and start writing right away. It does not use cloud sync or collect personal data. Everything you create stays on your device, and the app works without an internet connection.
1. Introduction
This page explains how privacy works in MindPin in plain language. Notes and reminders are stored on your device instead of being tied to an online account.
2. Data collection
MindPin does not ask who you are. It does not collect personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, or location.
It also does not use analytics, advertising identifiers, third-party trackers, or cloud note syncing.
3. Local data storage
Notes, reminders, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Half does not receive a copy, and MindPin does not use cloud storage.
Because the app is local-first, it keeps working without an internet connection when you need a note quickly.
4. Permissions
MindPin may ask for notification permission so reminders can appear on your device. That permission is used only for local reminder alerts.
If you do not allow notifications, your notes still stay on your device, but reminder alerts will not appear.
5. Third-party services
MindPin does not use third-party analytics, external tracking, login providers, cloud databases, or advertising services.
If that ever changes, this page will be updated first and the change will be explained clearly here.
6. Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. There are no third-party scripts here that profile visitors or follow them across sites.
The site also does not use browser storage for tracking. If a future technical feature ever needs a small local setting, it will be used only to make the site work and not to monitor you.
7. User control
You can delete notes and reminders inside the app. You can also remove all MindPin data by clearing app storage or uninstalling it.
If you uninstall MindPin, the operating system removes the locally stored app data.
